The establishing shot of this scene shows Sincline (Lotor) raising his cup (Figure 1), which was trimmed from Voltron. When a guard tells Sincline (Lotor) something that angers him, he loses his temper and charges at the guard, unsheathes his laser sword and strikes him (Figure 2), resulting in the guard being sliced from his shoulder down to his waist (Figure 3).
