In a fight against a Beastman to prove his worth to Daibarzaal (Zarkon), Neeta (Avok) brings the battle to an end by stabbing the creature in the stomach with his sword (Figure 1). The fatally wounded Beastman falls to the ground dead (Figure 2). |
Just before the Galra (Doom) forces land on the planet (Pollux), there is an establishing shot of the planet from space (Figure 3). |
During the meeting between the king (Coba) and his men, there is a close-up of them at the table that was trimmed from Voltron (Figure 4). |
When the Galra (Doom) attack ships fire on Neeta (Avok), he is shot and blinded in both eyes (Figures 5 & 6). After being shot in the back, he falls into the riverbank water (Figure 7). |
Neeta (Avok) transforms back into his human form (Figures 8 & 9). A few seconds later, his body explodes, killing him (Figure 10). |
Having seen his son's death, the king (Coba) starts running towards the off-screen gun turret (Figure 11). He jumps into the turret console seat (Figure 12) and starts aiming (Figure 13) ... |
... the weapon at Sincline's (Lotor) ship (Figure 14). But before he can fire any shots, several Galra (Doom) attack ships fire at the gun turret, blowing it up and killing the king (Coba) (Figures 15 & 16). |
Having witnessed the explosion, Onuvei (Romelle) starts running toward the remains of the gun turret (Figure 17). After being shot at and falling over while trying to stop Onuvei (Romelle) from being abducted, Aron (Bandor) crawls a few feet across the ground (Figire 18). |
At sunrise, a small funeral is held for the king (Coba) and Neeta (Avok). The scene starts off with an establishing shot of the castle (Figure 19), followed by a camera pan to the GoLion team and Aron (Bandor) at the graves of the dead men (Figure 20). Aron (Bandor), hands clasped together, prays in sadness (Figure 21). |
Still praying, Aron (Bandor) sadly and angrily curses Sincline (Lotor) for what he has done (Figure 22). After Kogane (Keith) rests his hand on Aron's shoulder, Farla (Allura) watches on (Figure 23). As the episode comes to a close, we see the GoLion team and Aron (Bandor) standing near the graves (Figure 24). This downwards panning shot was not totally excised from Voltron -- the panning stopped before the graves came into view. |
