Cut from Voltron was a side-on shot of Gunshi's (Coran) face near the monitors (Figure 1).

When Farla (Allura) catches up to Gunshi (Coran) and the youths on their way to King Raimon's (Alfor) crypt, Gunshi (Coran) says something to the young princess (Figure 2). Gunshi then begins to recount the deaths of Farla's (Allura) parents (Figure 3) and flashes back to the event. The flashback starts with a shot of Daibarzaal (Zarkon) towering over Farla's (Allura) parents (Figure 4).

Daibarzaal then begins to talk (Figure 5), but receives a bit of lip from Raimon (Figure 6). Raimon's (Alfor) words have obviously caught Daibarzaal's ire (Figure 7).

The king speaks defiantly (Figure 8), his words angering the evil emperor, who barks an order (Figure 9). Farla's (Allura) parents look up (Figure 10) ...

... to see a laser sword raised in the sky (Figure 11), the both of them aware of the fate that awaits them. Holding up the sword is Zadak (Yurak), who positions his weapon (Figure 12) and then strikes (Figure 13), killing Farla's (Allura) parents.

Blood splatters across the screen against a black background (Figure 14), signifying their deaths. After the flashback ends, Gunshi (Coran) has an anguished look on his face (Figure 15). A rightwards panning shot shows the shocked reactions of Kogane (Keith) and Seidou (Hunk) (Figure 16) ...

... and Kurogane (Lance), Farla (Allura) and Shirogane (Sven) (Figure 17).

As Gunshi (Coran), Farla (Allura) and the youths travel to Raimon's (Alfor) crypt in the elevator, Seidou (Hunk) makes a goofy look on his face (Figure 18).

Trimmed from Voltron was a quick shot of Seidou (Hunk) before running up to the control panel (Figure 19).

After blasting down the mountain and thinking they've killed Chibi (Pidge), the small group of Galra (Doom) soldiers admire their handiwork (Figure 20). When they leave, the shot cuts to a close-up of the mountain rubble (Figure 21).

During the Lions' attack on Zadak's (Yurak) forces, the Red Lion chases after several Galra (Doom) soldiers (Figure 22). The Red Lion then starts bringing his clawed foot down over the soldiers (Figure 23) before trampling them to death (Figure 24).

After the Red Lion runs out of view, the trampled remains of the soldiers can be seen on the ground (Figure 25). As the Lions charge at the Beastman a short time later, a split-screen shot of Green Lion and Kogane (Keith) was trimmed from Voltron (Figure 26). A close-up of Farla (Allura) after the Lions are knocked out was also trimmed from Voltron (Figure 27).
