"Altea Kingdom ..." says Kogane (Keith) when the youths realise they are on Planet Altea (Arus) (Figure 7). Shirogane (Sven) tells his friends that Gunshi (Coran) doesn't seem to be an enemy (Figure 8). Gunshi (Coran) proceeds to tell the youths what happened to the castle and Altea (Arus) many years before. As Gunshi (Coran) speaks, he flashes back to Daibarzaal's (Zarkon) forces attacking. Their presence was made felt when one of the command ships loomed above the streets of Altea (Arus) (Figure 9) ... |

As he kneels, Kogane (Keith) realises Gunshi (Coran) is coming down with an overhead blow so he stands up and blocks it with his spear (Figure 23). Seidou (Hunk) and Chibi (Pidge) then land behind Gunshi (Coran) and Seidou (Hunk) demands to know the reason for the attack (Figure 24). |

Kogane (Keith) also wants to know the reason for the attack (Figure 25). Lowering his walking stick, Gunshi (Coran) explains that he was testing their skills (Figure 26). In a long-off shot, he ads that he as seen their strengths (Figure 27). |

As Farla (Allura) walks down the stairs after making her appearance, Gunshi (Coran) tells her that the youths have come to rescue her (Figure 28). As he tells the youths of the attack by Daibarzaal (Zarkon) fifteen years ago, he has another flashback, which starts off with an explosion (Figure 29). As the flashback plays on, Gunshi (Coran) says that under the orders of King Raimon (Alfor), he escaped from the castle with the infant Farla (Allura) (Figure 30). |

As Gunshi's (Coran) flashback comes to an end, a close-up of baby Farla's (Allura) face is shown (Figure 31). After making her way to the bottom of the stairs, Farla (Allura) she tearily speaks and at one point compares Daibarzaal (Zarkon) with the devil (Figure 32). The camera then pans up to the top of the stairs where a painting of two unidentified people hangs on the wall (Figure 33). |

Shirogane (Sven) asks Gunshi (Coran) where GoLion is (Figure 52). This shot wasn't cut from Voltron but was trimmed down -- we never see Sven speak. |
